**Photographing silver wire-wrap cabochons** Posted: 5/3/2009 12:02:13 PM

I've been gaining experience in making silver wire-wrap jewelry, but photographing them to bring out the shapes and colors of the cabochons has been a big challenge. I've recently started using a black velvet "neck" and using two flash guns - one shooting through a white umbrella and one to give some highlights to the silver.
